This is a Computerized Machine suitable to conduct Tear resistance & Puncture Resistance test as per EN-388 consisting of vertical test stand movement of cross head effected through ball screw & servo motor, Test stand is fitted with an electronic transducer with micro processor based electronic interface unit to indicate the separation force in Newton while the distance traveled in MM is also indicated on the interface unit which has LCD display which displays real time value of load & cross head movement along with testing speed in mm/min. The rectangular specimen of 100 ± 10mm x 50 ± 5mm having an incision of 50 ± 5mm is held in between the two grips. The test is conducted at a speed of 100 ± 10mm/min. The machine operates on 220/230VAC or 400/440V, 3 phase A.C. supply.
